Daya Pro stepped back after three elevated weeks, but not to where it started
Daya Pro did $857,496, down 61.5%, after three weeks between $2.0M and $2.8M. That is still 1.9 times its pre-August average. We called the August level a step change; it looks more like a step that has partly reversed, and we are saying so.

We have written about Daya Pro in each of the last three issues, and the sequence matters:
| Week | Volume | Wallets | What we said |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-August average | $447,000 | ~40 | — |
| 17 Aug | $2,808,124 | 41 | a record; possibly one event |
| 24 Aug | $2,017,059 | 51 | "a level, not a week" |
| 31 Aug | $2,229,296 | 41 | "no longer a spike by any reading" |
| 7 Sep | $857,496 | 38 | — |
Where that leaves the call
Three weeks at four to six times its base looked like a step change, and we revised our first reading to say so. This week took back most of it.
It did not take back all of it. $857,496 is still 1.9 times the pre-August average, and it is higher than any week Daya Pro recorded between mid-June and mid-August.
The honest description now is a step that partly reversed. We do not know yet whether the next level is $450,000, $850,000 or somewhere that returns to $2M, and one week cannot tell us.
Why it still matters
Daya Pro moved on roughly 40 wallets the whole time. A venue whose weekly volume can swing by $1.4M on that few depositors will move the headline market in either direction — up 91% of the rise in the week of 17 August, and 36.8% of the fall this week.
Strip it out and the market fell 11.9% this week instead of 16.9%. We will keep showing both.
Method
Attributed retail stablecoin deposit volume for Daya Pro across the nine chains it operates on, for the ISO week of 7–13 September 2026, against the nine complete weeks from 15 June to 10 August 2026 and the three weeks from 17 August to 6 September. Deposit-side only. Daya Pro is tagged retail_only, so the size band is not applied. Wallet counts are distinct depositing addresses and are not a claim about distinct customers.
